An image I've been working on for the past week. Overall I'm really happy with how it turned out.
Learned a lot doing it, from Z-Depth masks in DS3A, to some new shading techniques to some really cool postwork tricks to make an image pop, to how to create and use alpha masks to help with color correction, etc.
Hard to tell the meaning behind this piece, it sort of just happened, I guess, hehe.

EDIT:
Updated file - Fixed several things:
-MAJOR error on my part in the DOF, where a chunk of the background didn't get blurred.
-Fixed back bend (still not entirely happy with it, but now it's a LOT better)
-Fixed knee (a bit) and buttocks to be nice and round (still something to be fixed, provided I can get some proper references - waiting on that).
-Fixed a few highlights (right side chest under the arm and right knee where it bent) that I didn't like.
-Highlights less... *whoa*
-Red glow changed a bit so I'm more happy with it.
-Fixed a thing that was going wrong with the DOF (bleed-through at a certain point that I couldn't get fixed until I had an epiphany just now).

When I just saw your work, I immediately click to get a closer look and the details are such realistic! It's like this female is so real, that she seems to become part robot and part human, a world to balance two specie as one. The way you had her position in is like she's sleeping like a baby in a womb, only she has plenty of room but in a great protection of herself in relaxation time. Her skin is so soft and smooth looking that she has a wonderful beauty skin. Her hair is like wiring and mixture of a human, so touching to see how they flow along nicely.

Vision: Five stars - very clear, so detailed, and perfect emotion setting.
Originality: 5 Stars - You created another work and this girl is someone we have no idea who she may be or become.
Technique: 4 Stars - It's amazing to see how realistic you made this picture, I just can't believe it so much.
Impact: 5 stars - You spent a lot of details that it brings everyone's eyes out, you get others curious of your work, and the details is what gets you going.

When I first saw this, I was very suprised. Not only is this a new style of sci-fi, it's also creative. Though there are many outstanding and incredible pictures of art on deviantART, this is by far one of the greatest 3D images I have seen (for it's section) The shading is well done, and the ropes, hair and other textures stand out in the picture, bringing a new perspective to the viewer. The background helps to bring out the main image in an impressive way, including colors, such as the red and skin tones, overall a job well done! :)

Dude, your art is exquisite! Do you do private commissions? How much do you charge? What is your schedule like? Before you ask I'm not a publishing house but just a regular joe. Please lemmme know?

Thank you! I've never done before, but I wouldn't be against doing commissions. I'd have to think about prices - it would depend on the complexity of the scene(s), the size of the render and the amount of detail of course. Schedule, now that I've started school and am preparing for college is more hectic than not, but the best would be for you to note me/email me what you're interested in and I can tell you if I could fit it into my schedule, discuss prices, etc.
