It started out as a new lighting setup I wanted, and it evolved into this: Mercenaries.
The lighting is something I've had on my mind for a while, a kind of "cold from one side, hot from the other [the colours, that is].
Can't really tell you where it came from exactly, it originally started as simpy Alice, then I bought Acasia [over at daz3d.com] and fit it to her, which looks amazing on her. I love chicks with guns.
Then I thought, hey, she needs a partner in crime. So I added a character I made for M4 [with Elite texture Jeremy] & started working on a pose for him and her.
I'm extremely happy with how this turned out, looks like my best work yet.

Technical:
-About an hour and a half render time: 45mins for the characters [foreground] and 45mins for the building [background].
-Overall setup took about 8-10 hours, including at least half a dozen crashes resulting in me getting pissed off.
-The lighting took about 2 hours to set up, after losing my original with the PERFECT lighting setup due to a crash as I was saving it. It took about 30mins after to get it right the second time, but still not perfect, and after that re-setting it for about over an hour to set it to work with Urban Future 2.
-Lighting setup is 2 distant lights [red & blue], one distant light [specular] and UberEnvironment with my own personal HDR image.
-Also, my own shader on both characters: will be posting the one for Alice on aerysoul.com when I'm done with it, since there isn't one that uses UberSurfaceShader.

Thanks for looking :D

The quirky point of view of Mercenaries by ~Lantios sets off the characters' attitude perfectly, making this a really cool scene. (Suggested by !IllustriousAngel and Featured by `joannastar)

Thanks a lot!

I really like what you did with the michael 4 character. Are you planning to release him. If you are I would buy him.
:iconlantios:
Thanks a lot!
I'm actually thinking of making a pack of character morphs and releasing it, but no ETA on when that would be.

Congrats on the DD! Totally deserved! :)
